![]() Had a few less than great experiences at this aging hotel in the past but this visit was the worst ever. I do not recommend staying at the flamingo ever.… I will never stay at flamingo again due to the disrespect, inconsideration, and rudeness. They were very rude and unpleasant to deal with. Flamingo did not provide us with any vouchers or anything for our inconvenience. The check in time should have been last night. I asked that since our room was not available can we get an upgrade and I was told no because of the type of room we reserved. We were told they had no rooms available and sent us to a different hotel, when we came back the next day to check in, they still did not have any rooms available and we were told that the check in time was at 4 PM that day. After standing there for two hours waiting he never came back to check on us or anything within that two hours and when he did finally come back. Once I spoke to an associate, he said he had to go to the back to talk to his supervisor. ![]() Once arriving at flamingo, I stood in line for 20 minutes before I got to speak to an associate. That’s now, God only knows what it will be like next year, Motel 6?… it looks as though Caesar’s is trying to run the hotel down and it is about the standard I get from a Red Roof Inn. The hotel itself had the usual complement of weed smokers and an assortment of drunks but this is Vegas so not too surprising. The beds were fine but the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed and there was a small dust bank against the beds. There was black hair on both the shower floor and wall and as we are both white haired they weren’t ours. The toilet seat hadn’t been screwed down properly and swung about alarmingly. BTW, he was the most pleasant member of staff with whom I interacted. The room on the 6th floor was bouncing because of the music blaring from downstairs. There was no hot water for two days and the cold tap was very hard to turn,There seems to be a problem with the valve as the maintenance guy told me. I I wasn’t given any chance to ask for an upgrade and seemingly I opted for no housekeeping as a supervisor told us that was so ,on Thursday. I am 78 years old and after leaning on my cane for an extra half hour in the line, I got to the front and after standing at the terminal, a young man came over and rushed me through the check in. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a bank of terminals which we were expected to use as our check in experience. I was going to call this review, “Buggsie would be proud” as he must be sitting beside the Devil, looking up and being proud of his minions in the way they are fleecing their clients. ![]()
